Our porch decorating service is a full turn-key experience – we handle everything needed to make your porch look amazing for the holidays. We help design a festive look, provide all the decorations, deliver them to your location, and set everything up for you. You won’t have to lift a finger while we transform your porch into a Halloween haunt, a cozy fall harvest, or a winter wonderland. (One thing to note: we focus on ground-level porch and entryway decor, not high rooftop lights. And when the season is over, removal isn’t included – you’ll take down the decorations yourself.)
A festive front porch decorated for fall, with pumpkins, hay bales, and autumn garlands around the door. We bring different decorations depending on the holiday so each porch fits the season perfectly. Here are some examples of what we typically use for each occasion:
Halloween: We love to create a fun pumpkin patch vibe on your porch! You’ll get lots of pumpkins (big and small, in orange, white, or even spooky colors), maybe some hay bales or straw, and fall mums (colorful autumn flowers). If you want a touch of spookiness, we can add friendly skeletons, spider webs, or ghosts – nothing too scary unless you request it. The idea is to make your porch look playfully spooky and inviting for trick-or-treaters.
Thanksgiving (Fall): For a harvest-season look, we use many of the classic fall elements: pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, and autumn leaf garlands. We might include a beautiful wreath with fall leaves on your door and maybe a rustic sign that says “Give Thanks.” It’s all done in warm colors like orange, gold, and red to give your porch a cozy, welcoming feel. Basically, it’ll look like a cheerful fall festival at your front door (perfect for family gatherings!).
Christmas: Winter holiday decor is all about evergreen greenery and sparkle. We usually hang a Christmas wreath on your door and wrap garland around the doorway or porch railings, often accented with pine cones, ribbons, and maybe lights. We can place mini Christmas trees or poinsettia plants by the door, and a cute doormat with a holiday theme. If you like, we’ll add touches of holiday charm like a Santa, snowman, or reindeer figure for extra fun. Many Houston decorators recommend using natural greenery – think evergreen wreaths, pine cones, and seasonal foliage for an elegant touch. Overall, your Christmas porch will be bright, merry, and full of holiday cheers!

Pumpkins are perishable, and their longevity depends on weather, handling, and location. Here are a few tips to help extend their freshness:
If you have more questions, feel free to contact us—we’re here to help make your porch shine all season long!
We decorate both residential homes and commercial locations. Whether it’s your family house or a business storefront, we can make it look festive for the holidays. We’ve helped homeowners and businesses add a bit of festive flair to their porches – from cozy front stoops to shop entrances. If you run a store, restaurant, or office in the Houston area, a decorated entry can really impress visitors and customers. We’ll adjust the design to fit the space: for example, a business might need a larger display or more durable setup for high foot-traffic. Residential or commercial, the service is hassle-free and sure to spread holiday spirit to anyone who stops by.
The cost of porch decorating can vary depending on how big your porch is and how elaborate you want the decor. For a basic package (for example, a nice assortment of pumpkins or a simple Christmas setup), prices typically start at a few hundred dollars. More elaborate designs with lots of pumpkins, premium decorations, or extensive greenery and lighting will cost more – in some cases around a thousand dollars or more for a very large or luxury display. For instance, one popular porch decor service in Texas offers packages ranging roughly from $325 up to $1,350 for different sizes of displays. Our pricing is in a similar range. We’ll provide you with a quote based on your specific needs and ideas. Keep in mind, the price includes the decorations themselves plus the design, delivery, and setup service, so you’re getting full value (and saving yourself the trouble of doing it all!).
It’s best to book as early as possible, because the holiday season gets busy! Many people in Houston love to decorate their porches, so our slots can fill up fast. In fact, some porch decorating services start taking Halloween orders as early as August because demand is so high. We recommend booking at least a few weeks to a month in advance of the holiday. For Halloween, try to reserve by September if you can; for Thanksgiving, by October; and for Christmas, it’s smart to book by early November (or even sooner for prime December dates). The earlier you book, the more likely you are to secure your desired installation date. Don’t wait until the last minute – as one Houston company notes, Christmas decor slots can sell out well in advance! If you contact us early, we’ll make sure your porch is decked out right on time for the festivities
Our installation process is easy and convenient for you. Here’s what to expect:
Scheduling: First, we’ll set up a date and time that works for you for the decoration setup. We usually coordinate a bit before the holiday so you can enjoy the decor for weeks leading up to the big day.
Delivery Day: On the scheduled day, our team will arrive with all the decorations needed for your design (pumpkins, garlands, lights, etc.). We bring everything to your doorstep – you don’t need to provide anything.
Setup: We then arrange everything on your porch just the way we planned. We position the hay bales, stack the pumpkins, hang the wreaths and garlands, place any figures or lanterns, and string up lights if those are included. We secure the items so they won’t blow away or tip over easily, and make sure it all looks picture-perfect.
Finishing Up: Installation is usually pretty quick – often we can decorate a porch in under an hour. Once we’re done, we’ll double-check that every detail looks great. You’ll be left with a beautifully decorated porch ready to enjoy!
No Hassle for You: You do not have to do any work – our team handles the heavy lifting, climbing ladders to hang decor, and all the styling. You can watch the transformation or even be away; it’s up to you. (Many clients are happy to come home to a “surprise” finished porch!) We pride ourselves on offering professional setup and delivery, all included in the service. After we’ve finished, we’ll clean up any mess from installation (like corn husks or tags from new decor), so we leave your porch tidy and gorgeous.
In short, we take care of everything from start to finish during installation. You get to enjoy the final result!
We design our porch displays to last throughout the holiday season. The longevity can vary by item, but here’s a general idea:
Pumpkins and fall decor: We use uncarved pumpkins, which last much longer than carved jack-o’-lanterns. In good conditions, an uncarved pumpkin can last many weeks – even 2–3 months before it starts to rot. In Houston’s warm climate, you can realistically expect the pumpkins to stay fresh for several weeks. They should easily make it through all of October and into early November. (Heat and humidity can eventually soften them, but we select fresh pumpkins and can give you tips to help them last). Dried items like straw bales and corn stalkswill hold up through the entire fall since they’re already dried – they might just get a bit weathered but generally stay intact through Thanksgiving. Fall flowers like mums will bloom for a few weeks; just water them occasionally to keep them lively.
Christmas greenery and lights: If we use live evergreen garlands or wreaths, they typically stay beautiful for a few weeks outdoors. In Houston, the winter is mild, so you don’t have to worry about freezing – but sun and wind can dry out fresh greenery after a while. We recommend hanging fresh wreaths in a shaded spot if possible and spritzing them with water every few days to keep them fresh. Generally, a fresh wreath or garland should last at least 2-3 weeks outdoors (often all the way through Christmas before it starts to brown). We can also use high-quality artificial garlands and wreaths by request – those will look good all season long and you can reuse them. As for lights and other decorations, they are all outdoor-safe and will last through the holiday. We use weather-resistant LED string lights, which can shine nightly for the season without burning out. Ornaments and props are secured so they won’t easily break or blow away. Basically, your porch decor will remain festive and enjoyable for the duration of the holiday period. If anything ever looks off or gets knocked down (for example, by a severe storm), you can adjust it easily – but that’s rare. We aim to give you a display that stays beautiful for weeks, until you’re ready to take it down after the holiday.
No, removal is not included – our service covers the setup and delivery only, not the takedown. When the holiday is over, it will be your responsibility to remove and store or dispose of the decorations. The good news is that all the items are yours to keep. We don’t come back to pick them up (since this isn’t a rental service), so you can decide what to do with everything. Many customers simply take the decorations down at their leisure: you can pack away durable items you want to save (for example, maybe keep the wreath or some lights for next year), and throw out or recycle the rest. For organic materials like pumpkins or hay, a friendly tip is to dispose of them in an eco-friendly way – compost them or donate them if possible. (Some porch decorators who do offer removal end up donating old pumpkins to local farms to feed animals, which is a neat idea you could try in your community!). If you don’t want to deal with any cleanup, you could also hire a local handyman or yard service to take down and haul away items after the season. But by default, we do not provide a post-holiday takedown, so plan to unplug the lights and pack things up when you’re ready. We’ll be happy to give you guidance on the best way to store certain items if you plan to reuse them. Overall, removal is simple – most of the decor is easy to handle. Just remember to take it down in a timely manner (your neighbors might give funny looks if Easter bunnies are still out at Independence Day!). We promise, the setup will bring so much joy that the takedown will feel worth it. And since you’ve kept the decor, you have the option to enjoy parts of it again next year if you’d like. Happy decorating, and thanks for understanding that our job is to get your porch holiday-ready – and then you get to enjoy it and eventually wrap it up once the season passes.
